Ryder Cup Gala Concert
Wednesday 24 September
SSE Hydro

With the 40th Ryder Cup being contested at Gleneagles in 2014, Scotland will play a major part in the
Ryder Cup story and the Ryder Cup Gala Concert will be the perfect way to kick off this prestigious
tournament in Glasgow.

Taking place in the fantastic SSE Hydro arena, the Ryder Cup Gala Concert brings together
a flavour of The Brits with The Proms. Four of Scotland's national arts bodies - Scottish Ballet, RSNO,
National Theatre of Scotland and Scottish Opera -  will perform on the same bill for the first time
alongside contemporary acts including Nile Rodgers, Jake Bugg, Texas, Amy Macdonald,
Twin Atlantic, Nina Nesbitt, Eddi Reader and Midge Ure, creating an evening of unique
collaboration that will delight and astound.
