NextBike Glasgow passes 20,000 hires in first nine weeks

Glasgow's new Mass Automated Cycle Hire (MACH) scheme today (Tuesday, 02 September) racked up its 20,000th hire.

Launched on 24 June, the £600,000 scheme has 400 bikes available for public hire at 31 locations across the city. Additional temporary sites were also in place at six Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games venues.
