All telephone queries and requests relating to the service provided by the Parks department are now answered by Customer Service Advisers within the Customer Care Centre. The transfer of call handling to the Customer Care Centre is part of the drive by Glasgow City Council to provide a robust and efficient service to the residents of Glasgow.
Customer Care Centre staff answer calls on behalf of the Parks Department. They gather all the necessary information required to action the report or request, and then the information is passed to the relevant Parks administration office or depot. The Parks department staff then take responsibility for actioning the request.
The Customer Care Centre answer calls related to the Parks department for the following services:

- Cemeteries & Crematoria Enquiries
- Glasgow Flowers*
*Glasgow Flowers calls are answered out of office hours by the Customer Care Centre.
The Customer Care Centre is also able to track the progress of requests through to completion. This means that the Customer Care Centre is able to provide updates to citizens if they call to enquire about the progress of their request.
