Scottish Enterprise launches low carbon knowledge

Scottish Enterprise launches low carbon knowledge series for companies

Scottish Enterprise has launched the Knowledge Series, a new online resource for companies. The first in the series focuses on Low Carbon support for companies.

With customers and contractors increasingly demanding more sustainable solutions, the most dynamic, fast-growing markets today are for low carbon products and services. This series provides companies with advice on how they can become more competitive, more profitable and take advantage of new opportunities in the new low carbon marketplace.

Businesses such as TreeGreen and Zebec in Glasgow have already become more competitive and profitable through low carbon.

By 2015/16, the market for low carbon goods and services will make up 10% of the Scottish economy - almost £12 billion. The potential opportunities are vast.
