The requirement for a Local Heat and Energy Efficiency Strategy (LHEES) was introduced by the Scottish Government to drive forward heat decarbonisation and better energy efficiency in buildings. The development of the strategy is required to be completed by 31 December 2023. To provide this for Glasgow, we have been identifying areas across Glasgow that are potentially suitable for district heating and those that require building fabric improvements. To progress the development of the strategy, you are invited to participate in our consultation.
The consultation will last from 18 August 2023 until 25 September 2023. Please click on the link to download the draft LHEES document [15Mb]. Afterwards, please complete the survey to give us any feedback you may have on the draft document.
Printed versions of the document is available to read at our offices.
