Organisation Name - Langside, Battlefield and Camphill Community Council

Project Description - Environmental improvement project to regenerate and improve the garden behind Langside Library, contributing to the Library's centenary programme. This grant would hard landscape the garden, including a gravel path and sandstone paving.

Organisation Name - Mount Florida Community Council

Project Description - Design development of road and transport strategy for Letherby Triangle. The project aims to create a public space in Mount Florida, while improving safety of pedestrians, cyclists, Mount Florida Primary School pupils and parents.

Amount Awarded - £3,200.00

Organisation Name - Mount Florida Primary Parent Partnership

Project Description - Playground development at Mount Florida Primary for outdoor learning and playing. Funds would contribute towards labour and the purchase timber, roofing and materials to make modular outdoor furniture for use by the school community and after school care service.

Organisation Name - The Mount Befriending Service

Project Description - Patio Garden project at The David Cargill Centre, repairing the current patio area and installing benches, planters, hanging baskets and a shed. Tehproject will benefit the older people attending the centre, the Mount Befriending Service's service users and volunteers.

Project Description - Event funding for the Glasgow Council on Alcohol Reach Out Road Show in the Langside community. The programme will tailored to individual need and will include art sessions, music sessions, topical chats and befriending.

Amount Requested - £2,000.00

Organisation Name - Glasgow Old People's Welfare Association

Project Description - Purchase and installation of a new boiler and dishwasher for the David Cargill Centre. This would support the 30 older adults who use the Centre and its lunch club 5 days per week, in addition to the community groups who use the Centre.

Amount Requested - £2,220.00

Organisation Name - Hilltop Nursery School

Project Description - Developing a nurturing outdoor play area for the young children and families local to the nursery. This would include a play cabin, gazebo, raised beds and sand pit.

Organisation Name - King's Park Brass

Project Description - Purchase of new beginner level brass instruments for local children joining King's Park Brass's Beginners group.The band have seen a surge in demand from local children and the new instruments will allow support these new members.
