SG9: Historic Environment
What is it?
This guidance sets out the City's planning approach and assessment criteria in how it will protect, conserve and enhance the historic environment for the benefit of existing and future generations.
This includes:
- historic buildings
- townscapes
- parks, gardens and designed landscapes
- the layout of fields and roads
- the remains of a wide range of past human activities
- ancient monuments and
- archaeological sites and landscapes

The public consultation concluded on 25 July 2016.
Adopted
These have now been adopted.
