Lord Provost sends condolences to Christchurch on behalf of the people of Glasgow
It's with sadness I send sympathy and solidarity to the people of Christchurch and New Zealand on behalf of the citizens of Glasgow.
We share your sorrow at this senseless terrorist attack. We too are shocked at the loss of life and dreadful injuries the people of Christchurch have endured. We send our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
We also send our gratitude and admiration to everyone involved in rescue and recovery operations.
