Aim of the Fund
The Fund is informed by the Glasgow City Council Strategic Plan and enables community organisations to provide nutritious food to children/young people using their services during school holiday periods. The Fund is for children/young people 0-18 years of age.
*The Children's Holiday Food programme is a grant for voluntary sector organisations. Information on School meals and clothing grants can be found on the website here: www.glasgow.gov.uk/schoolsandlearning
Summer Holiday 2022 activities for Glasgow Families
The Glasgow City Council Summer Children's Holiday Food Programme Summer 2022 starts on Monday, 27 June 2022.
Find out what free activities are on offer for children and young people in your local community. There's something on offer for everyone, view the lists below to see what activities you can book your child into - with free food provided too thanks to our community and third sector providers. The list has contact details for the organisation delivering the programme in your area and all you need to do is get in touch with them to find out more.

Glasgow City Council are no longer accepting applications for the Children's Holiday Food Programme 2022/2023.
