UPDATE (SEPTEMBER 2021):

Following an independent review in September 2021 which recommended the retention of those Spaces for People measures that could realise long term sustainability and active travel benefits - temporary footway widening infrastructure across neighbourhoods will not be made permanent, and if not already removed at the undernoted location, will be taken away in the subsequent months.

Location:	Paisley Road West - between Hillington Road South & Lamington Road
Expected Work Start Date:	13 July 2020
Expected Work Completion Date:	20 July 2020
Measure(s):	Paisley Road West: north side of carriageway within existing parking layby (directly opposite the Shell Garage) will be removed (estimated distance of 42 metres) north side of carriageway will be narrowed by approximately 2 metres between Moulin Road and Lamington Road, for an estimated distance of 33 metres south side of carriageway will be narrowed by 2 metres from its junction with Moulin Road, eastwards for an estimated distance of 37 metres All parking bays to be suspended.
Detail:	The temporary works will be in place from Monday 13 July 2020 for a minimum period of 10 weeks. The temporary works will be reviewed in line with the Scottish Government's Covid-19 Framework for Decision Making 'Scotland's Route Map through and out of the crisis'.
