This is the list of documents available for the submission By Councillor Alison Thewliss:- "Council congratulates NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde on being the first health board in the UK to achieve full UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative accreditation. This has come as the result of many years of hard work from the dedicated staff and volunteers, past and present, in both acute and community settings. Council believes that this work has helped to encourage increasing numbers of women to start and continue to breastfeed their babies but acknowledges that more work still remains to be done to promote and support breastfeeding in Scotland in the future. Council agrees to do all in its power, through Council departments and ALEOs, to promote and support breastfeeding and the principles of the UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative.".
