Glasgow City Council

City Voice Choir

City Voice Choir is the employee choir of Glasgow City Council, initially set up in 2014 as part of the Commonwealth Games celebrations, and the Games Legacy programme.

The choir has maintained the momentum and is still going strong, with members from all walks of council life with at least one other thing in common - they love to sing!

City Voice Choir meet once a week to rehearse and the emphasis is on singing for enjoyment and pleasure, however members have developed their musical and singing skills and made new friends along the way!

The choir performs at a wide variety of community and council events across the city throughout the year and are honoured to be invited to sing at the Lord Provost's Burns Supper in 2017.
