The Scottish Government, in conjunction with the planning authorities, introduced a new planning performance framework (PPF) in 2012 based on a balanced scorecard approach, covering the following main headings:
The Planning Performance Framework (PPF) is our Annual Report to the Scottish Government and describes the performance and successes of the Planning Service. This year the PPF captures the many ways we have responded to the COVID-19 pandemic. It highlights the central role of planning in supporting communities through a period of unprecedented risk and in re-imagining the city as part of our post-pandemic recovery.
