Online Planning

The online planning histories displayed on this site may be incomplete and should not, therefore, be used as a substitute for a formal Property Enquiry Certificate.

We accept no responsibility for any errors or omissions in the planning history information obtained using this search access.

Similarly, the information contained in these records does not constitute a formal notification of a planning decision, and as such, any actions that are taken as a result of information displayed on this site are taken entirely at the viewer's own risk.

If you have any reason to suspect the information is incorrect or you are experiencing operational problems with the system, please email us with the subject Planning Faults to allow the matter to be investigated.

Important information

The Online Planning facility is best viewed using Internet Explorer version 6 and upwards. Certain parts of the site may not function correctly in other browsers. The Council makes every effort to virus check the files available for downloading on this site but cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage which happens from the use of downloadable material. We recommend that users re-check all downloaded material with their own virus checking software.

Online Planning can be used to search for and view application details and documentation in relation to our Planning Applications, Appeals, Local Reviews and Enforcement cases.

Plans and other documents are available for planning applications received on or after 1st January 2007, for Appeals and Local Review cases from 1st January 2001 and Enforcement cases from 1st January 2006.

Whilst every effort has been made to keep the file sizes to a minimum, some of the larger documents, or those with colour, may take some time to download for anyone with a slow internet connection. Plans and drawings available on the website are taken from original scaled drawings but the images will not appear at any particular scale on your computer screen. Dimensions shown on drawings, where included, are the only indicators of measurements on these images. All of the documents are in PDF format and you will require an Adobe® Reader® to view or print PDF documents.

Copyright Notice

Plans, drawings and material submitted to the Council are protected by the Copyright Act (Section 47, 1988 Act). You may only use material which is downloaded and/or printed for consultation purposes, to compare current applications with previous schemes and to check whether developments have been completed in accordance with approved plans.
