Gambling and Lottery Licences
The Licensing Board deals with premises applications for:
- bingo halls
- casinos
- betting premises
- adult gaming centres
- family entertainment centres
and permits for:
- unlicensed family entertainment centre gaming machine permits
- prize gaming permits
- licensed premises gaming machine permits
- club gaming permits
- club machine permits
The Licensing Board also deals with Registration for Small Society Lotteries.
How do I apply for a Gambling Premises Licence?
There are a number of conditions which will be attached to each type of premises licence. You can download them below:

How do I apply for a Gambling Permit?
Please return your completed application form with the appropriate fee to our licensing section.
- Application- Conversion or new grant or change of name for unlicensed family entertainment centre gaming machine permits [57kb]
- Application- Conversion or new grant or change of name for prize gaming permits [67kb]
The fee for a new application for grant is £300.
The fee for a change of name is £25.
