If you choose to commute by car or drive into the city centre you may notice a number of changes taking place.
As part of the Buchanan Galleries expansion scheme Buchanan Galleries' existing car park will close. However, it's currently open and will remain so for as long as possible. We will provide all the latest information regarding its closure and alternative car parks and public transport links soon.
Queen Street Railway Station Car Park has closed but vehicles will, for the time being, still be able to pick up /drop off outside station entrance.
Seven new disabled parking bays have been created on the north side of George Square to replace spaces lost from Queen Street Railway Station Car Park .

Off Street Car Parking
City Parking, part of the GCC family, operate seven multi-story car parks around the city centre. Visit www.cityparkingglasgow.co.uk for more information. There are also privately owned car parks e.g. NCP, Q Park, St. Enoch's Shopping Centre and Buchanan Galleries shopping centre in the city centre.
The taxi rank previously located in Queen Street Railway Station Car Park has moved to George Street (outside Millennium Hotel) while another taxi rank has been created on George Street across from Queen Street Railway Station.
The main pick up and drop off for Queen Street Railway Station remains on George Street.
