Please note that the Active Travel Forum is now inactive.
The Forum was set up to provide a mechanism for feedback, input and progress updates on developing active travel policy and projects. It played a valuable role in helping shape the development of the Active Travel Strategy, which was adopted in early 2022 and can be found at here.
The Council now has a substantive suite of new policies and programmes which have been subject to engagement and consultation, including the Active Travel Strategy, the Liveable Neighbourhoods programme and the City Centre Transport Plan, as well as many ongoing active travel projects in development. All of our ongoing projects involve engagement and consultation at specific stages.
An Inclusive and Accessible Design Forum is also in development, due in 2023, which provides certain user groups with the opportunity to feedback on inclusive design issues in projects.
