NDR Small Business Bonus Scheme application
1. The Small Business Bonus Relief available depends on the total rateable value of the eligible property you are entitled to occupy and is set out in the table below. From 1st April 2020 Small Business Bonus Scheme relief is only available to properties that are in active use.
2. In line with The Non-Domestic Rates (Levying) (Scotland) Regulations 2014 and The Non-Domestic Rates (Levying and Miscellaneous Amendment) (Scotland), payday lenders, Car parks, car spaces, advertisements and betting shops will no longer qualify for Small Business Bonus Relief effective from 1st April 2023.
3. If you are liable for any additional properties within Scotland you must notify Glasgow City Council immediately of any change in circumstances to these additional properties.

1. Please note that from 1 April 2023, Small Business Bonus Relief is no longer available for car parks, car spaces, advertisements and betting shops. Where applicable, we will apply Relief to these properties for periods prior to this date. If this property was in receipt of Small Business Bonus Relief on 31 March 2023, you may still be entitled to Small Business Bonus Transitional Relief from 1 April 2023. You can make an application for this relief using our Small Business Transitional Relief application
