Our team of 39 Security Officers has, on average, 23 years plus experience within the industry and provides Security Services to over a six hundred properties, including City Building construction sites, schools, libraries, museums, art galleries, community facilities and sports venues.
The security services we provide include mobile response teams who can provide regular, unplanned or intelligence-led patrols throughout the day or night, monitored by Guard Tour technology. We also provide static guards to protect individual properties, key holding services, security site surveys and risk assessments, incident response, and vacant property alarms.
We guarantee a quick response to all security needs and our mobile response teams are supported with real time information from GCC's Alarm Receiving Centre and the Glasgow Operations Centre providing a holistic, joined-up approach to service provision.
Our Security Officers are Security Industry Authority (SIA) licensed, and adhere to the following British Standards: BS7499:2013 static guard and mobile patrol service and BS7984-1:2016 - key holding and response service. We are also members of the British Security Industry Association (BSIA), The BSIA's mission is to support members and encourage excellence; educate the marketplace on the value of quality and professional security; and create an environment in which our members can flourish.
Experienced Security Officers, who are trained to industry standard BS 7499:2013 and subject to extensive background checks, will patrol premises inside and outside, providing protection to offices and equipment. They can carry out duties including verification of identity, surveillance and intelligence gathering.
Working to BS 7984-1:2016, our officers can ensure that your keys are secure and provide a service for tenanted and vacant properties. We are able to provide access support to staff, tradesmen and contractors at weekends, in the evening, or as part of an incident response if an alarm is activated.
Mobile Security Patrols
Our mobile security patrols are a highly visible and effective deterrent response service where officers can provide regular, unplanned or intelligence-led patrols throughout the day or night. Should an incident occur, we promptly implement your emergency instructions. Our officers are also trained to use CCTV: this can be used to monitor identified hot-spot areas and provide out of hours support.
We offer fully comprehensive security site surveys and risk assessments, which will provide both practical and technology-based solutions for your security challenges.
If an alarm activation is received, a mobile patrol will be dispatched to the site to establish the cause for alarm. As the authorised key holders for out-of-hours incidents for Glasgow City Coucnil, we provide support for major incidents such as Fire/Flood or rescue, and minor incidents such as the boarding-up of premises. Our officers will reset the alarm once the site is secure and contact the Police if required.
Vacant Property Alarms:
We can ensure 24-hour protection for your vacant properties, also offering an incident response service to alarm activations should this be required.
