Glasgow City Council is responsible for managing the cleaning provision within a variety of establishments throughout Glasgow, including schools and social work establishments and a number of exciting recruitment opportunities have arisen within a variety of these locations. 

Our cleaning staff provide an important and invaluable service within our establishments.

You will undertake cleaning duties within the premise using cleaning materials and machinery, ensuring cleaning within the building is of a consistently high standard. You will also deal with cleaning maintenance issues as required and reporting faults as necessary whilst adhering to health and safety legislation at all times.

Successful applicants will have to work flexibly.  The current operational system means that the most likely locations which you would be transferred to, would be within a reasonable geographical distance of your base location.

Please note that a number of these positions will either be subject to membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
