Warning of works will be provided in the local area by way of signage/yellow cones, with temporary local restrictions in place on waiting, loading and parking during the work itself.

This latest project is part of the Spaces for People programme which has seen a wide variety of temporary measures implemented across the city during the pandemic to provide extra space for walking, wheeling and cycling. Supported by funding from the Scottish Government (administered by Sustrans Scotland) these new measures at Pollokshields aim to increase the practicality and attractiveness of active travel and make it easier to keep a safe distance from others when out and about.

Work should be completed by 21 April 2021, with the road layout changes set to be in place for a minimum period of 10 weeks, and reviewed in line with the Scottish Government's COVID-19: Framework for Decision Making - Scotland's Route Map through and out of the crisis.
