Pollok Country Park Shuttle Bus FAQ's

Where and when does the bus stop?

Pollok Country Park's electric shuttle bus will stop at Pollokshaws Road entrance (the bus stop is located just after the bridge at the park entrance at 2060 Pollokshaws Road), Pollok House and the Burrell Collection. The bus runs a half hour service starting at the Pollokshaws Road entrance bus stop at 10 am and finishes at 6:15 pm (last pick up at Burrell bus stop).  Please note, the bus does not operate between- 12:30 and 1:30 pm.

This is our winter seasonal operating hours and times may change throughout the year. Please keep an eye on this page for any updates and bus timetables will be provided at bus stops.

Does it cost to use the bus?

No, the bus is completely free.

Are dogs allowed on the bus?

Well behaved dogs can travel on the bus, at the driver's discretion, if they are kept under control.

Is the bus wheelchair accessible?

The bus is wheelchair accessible, however as it is a minibus it can only accommodate one wheelchair per journey.

Are bikes allowed on the bus?

There may be space for one bike on the bus, however this is at the driver's discretion and wheelchairs are priority.

Can the bus stop elsewhere within the park?

At present the bus only stops at Pollokshaws Road entrance, Pollok House and the Burrell Collection, however this will be kept under review for the future. Please note you can flag the bus down at any point on its route within the park provided the driver feels it is safe enough to do so.
