Persons from Ukraine Exemption/Discount
What is it?
An exemption or discount from Council Tax may apply where persons from Ukraine resident in a property. From 1 April 2023, exemption or discount can be given where a person from Ukraine is resident in a property in Glasgow under the Homes for Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme. This is a change from the rules which applied between 1 April 2022 and 31 March 2023 which could also apply to Ukrainians resident in Glasgow who were not part of the settlement scheme.
