Let's Grow Together Fund

The Let's Grow Together Fund was created to support communities to access, enjoy and celebrate growing spaces within Glasgow. This is an annual fund of £50,000 linked with Glasgow's Food Growing Strategy.

In 2022/3 Let's Grow Together Fund aimed to support the development of projects under the following themes:

  • Climate Change;
  • Community Growth;
  • Health and Wellbeing;
  • Education;
  • Environmental;
  • Diversity and Inclusion;
  • Biodiversity;
  • Growing Locally.

Capital grants from £500 to £5,000 were available per application for projects that have some continuing benefit to community and growing spaces including contribution to new growing spaces to reduce allotment waiting lists within Glasgow.

Applications were reviewed by Glasgow's Community Food Growers' Forum which is made up of representatives of food and growing projects citywide.

The projects which received support from the Let's Grow Together Fund in 2022/3 are listed below:

  • Aproxima
  • Brighter Baillieston
