Public Consultation on 2023 Review of UK Parliament Constituencies Now Open

The Boundary Commission for Scotland has published its Revised Proposals for UK Parliament constituencies.

The four-week consultation opened on 8 November 2022 and will close on 5 December 2022.

The Review covers all of Scotland except the Orkney and Shetland constituency and the Na h-Eileanan an lar constituency which are fixed by legislation.

The proposed boundaries can be viewed at www.bcs2023review.com where you can make comments and compare these with the existing constituency boundaries.

All comments should be submitted no later than 5 December 2022 which is the end of the statutory consultation period, after which the Commission will finalise its recommendations and submit these to the Speaker of the House of Commons by 1 July 2023.
