How we treat weeds
Our adopted footways receive herbicide treatment for weeds throughout the growing season. The first of two herbicide treatments programmes commence at the end of April, running to the end of June, with a second application thereafter running until the end of September.
It should be noted that the application of herbicide is weather dependant.
How to report weeds causing a flood or blockage
If the weeds are causing a flood or blockage on a drain/gully you can report this online through our roads faults form.

Is this an emergency?
If the problem is causing excessive flooding, resulting in a road being impassable or ingress into property, this is an emergency. Please call 0800 37 36 35.
