This is the list of documents available for the submission by Councillor Steven Purcell:- "Council notes the publication of the Director of Public Health's biennial report, An Unequal Struggle for Health, which documents the key challenges facing public health in the NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde Area. Council welcomes the report's endorsement of the Glasgow Living Wage campaign and in particular its recommendation that the NHS adopt a similar initiative. Council endorses the principles behind the Living Wage and believes that the public sector has a crucial role to play in alleviating in-work poverty. Council agrees that the Leader of the Council contact the Cabinet Secretary for Health and Wellbeing, Nicola Sturgeon, to press for the introduction of a Living Wage for all NHS employees in Scotland and to write to Scottish Ministers to lobby for the introduction of a Living Wage for all directly and indirectly employed workers in the Scottish Executive and associated public sector organisations.".
