This is the list of documents available for the submission by Councillor Matthew Kerr:- "Glasgow City Council welcomes the fact that after consultation by the Department of Work and Pensions there will be official government recognition of International Workers' Memorial Day on 28th April 2010. Glasgow City Council recognises the importance of the day, not only to remember lives lost at work, but also as an opportunity to raise awareness of health and safety at work and the key role the Trade Union movement can play in this. Glasgow City Council resolves to investigate the possibility of the creation of a permanent memorial to fallen workers with the TUC, Glasgow Trades Council and other interested parties.".
