"The Council supports the Commonwealth Orchard as part of the Legacy of the 2014 Games.
The Council will encourage children, families and communities to get involved in planting, looking after, harvesting and eating the fruit grown on Glasgow's 1000 new fruit trees and help the City's children to understand that growing local food can be fun, and rewarding."
