This is the list of documents available for the submission by Bailie David McDonald:- "Council notes with great concern the proposed loss of designated green belt land at the former Glasgow Zoo site and nearby Ellismuir farm in Broomhouse (Ward 20). Council notes the historical and environmental heritage of these locations which contain local and city wide sites of Importance for Nature Conservation, sites of Special Landscape Importance and Tree Preservation Orders, along with a number of European Protected Species and Habitats. Council notes the submission of Scottish Natural Heritage on the Environmental Impact Assessment related to a proposed housing development which highlights a number of areas of concern. Council therefore calls for all appropriate ecological and archaeological surveys to be undertaken, for the existing development proposals to be extensively reviewed before any work is allowed to proceed and to consider, if/where appropriate, alternative usage of the sites.".
