Universal concessionary travel on buses for those aged over 60, the disabled and veterans - without means testing - provides both a valuable link for our oldest and most vulnerable citizens and a vote of thanks to those who have contributed so much to our society. Council therefore agrees to continue to work with the Scottish Government and local bus operators to ensure that the Concessionary Bus scheme continues to provide a vital, universal, public service.".
