Unpaid Work Requests

Community Payback Orders are a sentencing option that can be imposed by courts and can involve unpaid work which is of value to the community and allows individuals to put something positive back into their communities, through hard work, and serves as an alternative to imprisonment.

Individuals are carefully assessed before they are assigned to a work project and are supervised by community payback officers whilst on site.

Local organisations or members of the public can submit an application for work to be undertaken which is of benefit to the community.

Please note that we can only accept applications where work undertaken would not be likely to deprive others of opportunity for paid employment.
