Non-Core Pay: WCD = £589.00 per annum

Hours of Work: 37 hours + 3 hours contractual overtime
Work Schedule: Term Time: Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 4.00pm
Down Time: Monday to Friday, 7.45am to 4.45pm

The position of Neighbourhood Janitor will provide a full and comprehensive Facilities Support service within a Neighbourhood in Glasgow, where you will report to the Senior Neighbourhood Janitor.
You will be responsible for the delivery of a range of services within a Neighbourhood including opening and closing of premises, de-littering soft and hard standing areas within the fence line and for the exterior lined perimeter fence. Remove animal excrement, weeds and chewing gum as required. In addition, you will remove snow/ice from pathways and spread salt to make safe entrance and egress from establishments for all service users.
The main duties and responsibilities will include providing safe and secure facilities, taking delivery of goods and materials and porterage of items within the establishment and performance of handyperson tasks as required.
Other duties will include identifying any faults within establishments and liaising with the Senior Neighbourhood Janitor or building users, highlighting any concerns with building cleaning standards with the Senior Neighbourhood Janitor.
This position is subject to the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme membership.
