Detail: | The temporary works will be reviewed in line with the Scottish Government's Covid-19 Framework for Decision Making 'Scotland's Route Map through and out of the crisis'. Paisley Road West: North side of carriageway will be narrowed by 2 metres between Harley Street and Cessnock Street. Parking areas suspended whilst temporary restrictions are in place. Update - 8 September 2020: Spaces for People infrastructure is temporary and as such, agile. Measures can be mobilised relatively quickly as the need arises, and adjustments made to existing infrastructure after a period of review. Following a monitoring period at this location, the temporary infrastructure has been removed. Update: 16 September 2021 Following an independent review which recommended the retention of those Spaces for People measures that could realise long term sustainability and active travel benefits - temporary footway widening infrastructure across neighbourhoods will not be reinstated at this location/made permanent. |
