Display Screen Equipment (DSE) information
The Display Screen Equipment Regulations aim to protect the health of workers in reducing risks from Display Screen Equipment (DSE) work. The main risks that may arise in work with DSE are musculoskeletal disorders such as back pain or upper limb disorders, visual fatigue and mental stress.
Poor ergonomics describes the relationship between, environment, task and equipment. To avoid poor ergonomics and the potential health conditions and risks associated with the incorrect use of all elements of DSE, please ensure you:
