It's baaaa-ck...Queens Park Easter Pets event

The public will get the chance to meet them at this year's Easter Pets community event at the Glasshouse. This free family event features animals from other parks in the city.

There will be rabbits, chicks and a Highland cow from Pollok Country Park and Tollcross Children's Farm. Entry to Easter Pets is free and it runs from Tuesday, 5 April until Thursday 7 April 2016.

Joseph Duffy, Facility Supervisor at Queens Park, and in charge of putting the event together, said: "This event is always very well received, drawing large numbers of people and families to Queens Park over the last few years.

"Everyone loves seeing the animals and finding out a bit more about them. Easter Pets is a great educational and fun experience - for everyone."

Queens Park is also home to the city's more exotic residents including tropical fish, exotic birds and a reptile house. Children can also visit the soft play area while adults can take a well-earned tea break in the café.

The Easter Pets event is on from 10am - 3.30pm, Tuesday, 5 April - Thursday, 7 April. The Glasshouse entrance is located at 520 Langside Road.
