Little Ethan Ward helps the Lord Provost publicise Baby's First Christmas.
Registration for this popular event will open on Wednesday November 1 at 9 am.
The first 250 registered infants will have the chance to meet the city's new Lord Provost Eva Bolander at the City Chambers on Saturday December 2.
They will also receive a personalised scroll, a silver Newbridge Christmas decoration for their Christmas tree and a teddy bear from Hamleys. The event is sponsored by St Enoch Centre.
Babies must be less than one year old to qualify.
Registration will be open for a maximum of two weeks or until all 1000 places have been filled.
Applications are invited from babies born within the Glasgow City Council boundary and are taken on a first come first served basis.
The Lord Provost said: "Christmas is when we meet up and spend time together. It will be extra special for those welcoming new family members. This will be my first Christmas as Lord Provost and I am really looking forward to meeting some of the newest and youngest citizens of our city.
"Baby's First Christmas will create special memories for another thousand Glasgow families and will also be a very special occasion for me."
