2021's successful Summer Internship Programme has come to an end.
26 Interns spent 12 weeks working across a variety of Council Services and Arm's Length Organisations, ie Chief Executives Department, City Property, Development and Regeneration Services, Education, Finance, Health and Social Care, and Neighbourhoods and Sustainability.
Over the 12 weeks Interns worked on diverse projects, all of which will benefit the citizens of Glasgow, the Council, ALEOs and the Interns themselves. Examples of the projects are - Improving Digital Services, Connectivity and Technology in Glasgow's Affordable Housing Sector; Review of Employment Support Services for Barriers to Employment; Developing Online Career Education Resources for Primary School Pupils. These are just some examples of the good work all our Interns have been doing over the summer.
Thanks go to all Interns, Managers, Mentors and everyone who worked hard to ensure this year's programme was a success.
Work has now begun for the 2022 Programme. This page will be updated with further details in the coming months. Applications will most likely open in February 2022.
