Technology Refresh - Getting Started


Welcome to your new device. You should have already received and read the first briefing Getting Ready.

Your getting started checklist

There are several important tasks that you need to complete so that you can get up and running on your new device. 

o  

Outlook - Initial set up of Outlook. For help on how to do this read our pdf icon Guide 5. Open Outlook for the first time [143kb]

  
oEductaion Services Outlook guide -

Change to Browser Favourites - you will need to import your Internet Favourites that were previously exported. For help on how to do this read our pdf icon Guide 6. Import browser bookmarks [165kb]

Peripheral Equipment- please check that any local peripheral equipment, for example scanners and smart boards, are connected and working.

Email Signatures- you will need to recreate your email signature that was previously saved. For help on how to do this read our pdf icon Guide 7. Recreate outlook email signatures [108kb]

Electronic Records and DocumentManagement System (EDRMS) - You will find a shortcut to EDRMS on your new desktop. There are no majorchangesto your EDRMS screens. Your upgraded device access to EDRMS continues through Enterprise Connect.

Shared Mailboxes- you will need to reattach any shared mailboxes that you use. For help on how to do this read our pdf icon Guide 8. Attaching a shared mailbox [99kb]
