Arthur Lunney was a private with the 1st/7th Battalion Royal Scots. His service number 35539 (formerly Royal Scots Fusiliers, Number 22570 and Highland Light Infantry, Number 28062).

Arthur lived and enlisted in Glasgow. He is the brother of Private George Lunney. Arthur was killed in action aged 28 on 24 November 1917. He is buried in the Jerusalem War Cemetery, Grave reference G.23.
