Housing Regeneration is an essential mechanism for delivering the aims and objectives of Glasgow's Housing Strategy. The council has put in place a range of structures, resources and programmes to deliver these aims and objective in a co-coordinated, open, transparent and accountable way.

In September 2003, responsibility for management of the Housing Investment Budget in Glasgow transferred from the Scottish Government to the City Council. This Programme is a key resource for delivering Glasgow's Housing Strategy Investment Priorities.
