The Big Lunch

Hayburn Park

1pm until 4pm

The Big Lunch is a community event where we invite our neighbours to bring a dish and get together in the park for lunch. It is part of a national event by the Eden Project. We have donations from local supermarkets so even if people can't bring a dish there will be food in separate packaging to share. Games for the children such as egg and spoon race and the tug o war. This is a lovely opportunity for people to meet their neighbours and spend some quality time with them. It is also a chance for multigenerational mingling. All of these things are so important to our health and well being.
